Caption｜The story takes place around midnight. Two sailors, one more experienced than the other, are instructed to hide and wait on the lake. Their mission is to imitate the sounds of waterfowls when bells are sounded on land to please an old king, who finds bell ringing pleasing. As they wait, they start talking about the past of bells. In fact, bells no longer exist in the world of the video, as authentic bells were all gone due to wars. Consequently, people can only reproduce bells according to the definition of bells. However, the sounds of newly made bells are inevitably flawed. So, the palace staff decide to ask “the smartest person in the whole nation” to get them out of this embarrassing situation.
