Creative Possibilities for a Poor Director


Sun, Chih-Hsing, 1992

  • Sun Chih-Hsing graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Taipei National University of the Arts with a focus on the relationship between narrative, media, and space. While in school, Sun worked primarily with spatial installations and performative curating; after graduation, his practice shifted toward narrative-based moving images. Sun has received several honors, including the 2019 Curating Conference, Outstanding Art Prize of School of Fine Arts, and the 2019 CTBC Arts Award. Solo exhibitions include World of Mechanics at FreeS Art Space in 2019 and Mini Exhibition on the Screen, presented as part of the MoCA Video at MoCA TAIPEI in 2022.
